Ambrogio Rossari
Ambrogio Rossari, born in 1943 in Salò, graduated in 1966 from the School of Industrial Design in Venice. Pozzi’s “Piemonte” collection is one of the first projects he designed.
He received a Master’s in Product Designfrom the ITT Institute of Design in Chicago. After returning to Italy, he worked for Studio Bonetto.
In 1971 he became a freelance designer, while in 1983 he founded the Rossari & Associati studio. He has designed for many companies in Italy and abroad, including Accornero, Appiani, Bilumen, Carrara & Matta, Cesame, Colombo Design, Dado Ceramica, Duratex, Duker, Eschenbach, Erre.Ci.Gi., Fastigi, F.lli Guzzini, F.lli Frattini, Gedy, IKEA, Inda, Lave Bath, Olivari, OMS, Philips, Pozzi, Industrie Pirelli, Rapsel, Saniplast, Technova, Tropical and Vorberg. He designed fair booths and exhibit areas for Cristallerie Livellara, Italtrade, Keravem, NCR, and Valdadige and also designed the exhibit “The Italian Bath” at ICE of Los Angeles.
